Downsizing: Trade my 120 for your ?

I am still looking to downsize from my 120 reef ready. I had few responses last time, but nothing that fit my needs.

I would like to trade my 120 and stand for a smaller tank, something 40 gallons to 65 gallons. The tank must be reef ready, 48" in length (so I can use my current lighting) and have a decent stand.

Thanks.

Honestly, there isn't a ton in the 48" range beyond a 55 gallon, and it's my honest opinion that should stay as a freshwater tank and have nothing to do with our hobby (dimensions are hard to work with).

33 long is too small 48 x 13 x 12
40 long has the same issues as a 55 48 x 13 x 16
75 is over 48 x 18 x 20

Is your T5 a fixture or a retro? You can easily change bulb lengths if it's retro. If you're overdriving to reach the bottom of your 120, you'll likely burn things up in a smaller, less tall tank.

Sorry for crapping on your thread, but I thought it would be a good idea to try to possibly re-align your expectations. Hopefully no offense taken.

My old Perfecto 75 was 48" x 18" x 20" which would fit your 48" requirement. I wouldn't go smaller than that.

No offense taken. I have a second child on the way and want to downsize the tank a bit to move upstairs from the basement where the family can enjoy it more. That is my main motivation.

Light fixture is not a retro.

I have a rr 75g with the black pine stand. I also have 65g tank that is 48x18x17, but no stand and the tank isn't what I would call display tank standards. But i'll give a good look over tonight, and could get pics of it if you want.

let me know.
