i currently have a 29g with a true perc, picasso and a RBA all fully grown. i am going to get ride of my 29g set up due to space limitations and thinking of getting a pico or biocube what size tank would i need to keep these guys happy 5,7, or 10g any help would great.

I think the general consensus would be to go as big as possible to help with flucuations in temp, salinity, etc... But a standard 10g is only 10" shorter then the 29g so you wouldn't be saving that much space. I'm assuming you meant to write RBTA instead of "RBA". I've seen people keep them in nano's you would just have to keep a closer eye on everything.

Yes I think a 10 will be fine till the RBTA starts to split off and grow larger. For now I think it would be okay, but when more space is avaible try to get a bigger tank!

IMO, it will be fine for the clowns, but not the anemone. First, it will get too big, and the amount of waste they produce is surprising, so you will have to deal with that. I tried this many many years ago, and it was a huge PITA, just glad I had another tank to move the anemones into.

10 gallons is really pushing it imo. A large anemone is more than likely to find a powerhead/ meet up with your overflow in a smaller tank, not to mention the amount of space it would take and the water quality issues you can come across if you do not practice good husbandry. Not saying it cant be done, but it wouldn't be ideal for the animal imo.

Though it's possible to keep an anemone and clowns in a 10 or 12, I personally wouldn't do it in smaller than a 15 gallon. Because of reasons already mentioned, it's more trouble to keep the smaller tank. If you're determined to do it, I would say, feed sparingly and plan on doing regular (preferably weekly) partial water changes of say 15-20%.
