dozens of brittle stars

I have several dozen (maybe more) of brittle stars in my tank. They are all the same kind. About 1/2 to 1 inch, black body with black and gray banded arms.
What can I get to keep them under control?
Harlequin shrimp?

They are harmless, let them be. They make good scavengers of leftover food matter.

They are called micro satrs or mini brittle stars. You could probably trap them in sum kinda trap with bait.
But you don't want to get rid of them. This is why you bought live rock to contain beneficial bacteria and scavengers.
They eat all the microscopic food particales larger scavengers can't find.
If you can catch them you can probably sell them to a local reefer or Lfs.

When you trim back your cheatto toss a bunch in there and you could sell it on here. Manny people would love to have some of them. Be careful when you handle them though, their arms break off really easy....B R I T T L E stars
