I am planning on driving if anyone is looking to Carpool. I can fit 4 total (5 if someone wants to sit in the middle of the back seat). I would like to get there a little early so I can grab a few things from the retail store before the tour starts.

I live in Loves Park off Riverside close to I-90.

By the way, are you driving through Rochelle on your way up to Rockford. I don't mind driving to Rockford, but if you happened to be coming through this way anyway, I could give you some company from here to Rockford. If not, no big deal.

Quick question, will we be able to buy any corals while we are there or is it only the pre ordered dry goods.

Yes you will be able to buy livestock. You will pick it out when you are in the aquaculture facility. They ask that we preorder drygoods since they have to pull it from the warehouse.

It was the exact opposite when we were there for the swap in June 2008. You could fill out an order form for dry goods in the warehouse but you had to pick out livestock online, buy it online and you could pick it up there because not everything in the facility is for sale immediately.

The swap is coming back next June. Only 7 months away. Are you guys going back up for that?

The swaps are different then this event. Live aquaria allows tours by clubs on weekends. They only have to deal with 25-50 people compared to 500+ for the swaps so they allow purchases at these events.

As for next years swap there are typically 5-10 of us that go up.
