Dr. G's medicated foods?

Hey guys,

So I suspect my fish tank has ich, and have been researching what i can do about it. All of the options seem to include at least one QT tank, which I have a 10 gallon QT I just don't know if that would be big enough for my fish for the extended period of time they would need to be in there to treat the icy. While researching my options someone recommended Dr. G's anti parasitic frozen food. I have seen this stuff at my LFS but does anyone have any experience with it, I just dont get how it would really work.

Thanks in advance

It has worked well, for me .Make sure you get the anti parasite caviar. I met up with Dr.G himself at Macna 2014 and he told me they have an improved formula that the fish now eat(as they used to spit out due to bitter flavor)

Heard reef frenzy is great. Using it breeding the 25,000 rare white Angels. They weren't eating but ate that after everything else was tried. He's a sponsor now.

QT is the best route.

The food might treat the fish, but the parasite will still be in the system.

When I've tried that food before, fish didn't seem to like it.

Best to just QT and feed the fish good quality un-medicated foods. Supplement the food with Selcon.

Yeah my fish hated that stuff. Even when I mixed it with other, regular foods they would immediately spit out the medicated stuff.
I couldn't fool them. I also didn't know that Dr. G updated the recipe to fix this but my LFS has so much of the original formula that there's no way they're restocking any time soon. Dr. G should go around and buy back/replace the old stuff.
