Dr macs trip this weekend

Hey bud, how is the hood coming? are you doing a diy? Well everyone would like some pictures. Including me.

Maybe we can take some pictures at Dr. Mac's this weekend and post them. I hope that we can get some good deals. If we get some nice corals for JollyGreen maybe he'll stop trying to decorate his tank with aiptasia anenomes. I am more than willing to help you go on a killing spree in his tank.

finally got internet,
well i have about 12 pounds of kalkwasser that i just got and will be bringing some down to do a diy on killing aiptasia.
i will deffinatly be taking a lot of pictures for the site. i am getting excited about going and hopefully i dont spend too much money
here is the current progress on the hood:

I used spray on... it kept getting blemishes/etc..

You may end up having to hand paint it.

I did, after a couple weeks.

i hand painted it first and then i went over it to fill in some spots with the spray

yes, the internet back is a blessing. I was actually reading and getting enough sleep there for awhile.

i am going to be getting some snails and hopefully a couple sps frags, maybe even something bigger

yea I want to get some more snails. I was thinking of getting a clown to make a pair and maybe a shrimp goby and pistol shrimp. I think that that would be pretty cool.

maybe you can help with some coral suggestions. I need to "redecorate" my tank. I feel like things are in there pretty sporadically.
Alright, off to bed for me. I've got some friends who want to get together saturday night so we should have a good time. Can't wait to see you!!!

well, we made it back. its only an hour and a half from baltimore. definitely worth the trip. Dr. Mac is awesome. we had pizza and talked to him for awhile. I got 2 SPS pieces and piece of diploastrea. All of them are really nice pieces. We also got some snails and I got a pistol shrimp. It was a great time!! I highly recommend it.
