Dragon breath problem

So i just purchased some dragons breath algae and after put it in my tank it's starting to get green tips. Is it dying off? it looks smaller then before.

I am curious about this as well. I am hoping that when it grows the new part is green before it turns red, but I haven't been able to find any info about it.

Green is dead. Best to snip off the dead tips to help it grow out new ones again. Healthy growth is either red or orange depending on the kind of Halymenia you got.

I just got a Halymenia. It seems to be doing well except that the decorator crab has taken a liking to it. He likes to sit in it. I think he is snipping it up in the night. There are peices of it floating around. Otherwise it looks healthy.
Any suggestions?
