Dragon Eye Placement

I have two frags of what I believe is Dragon Eyes, orange with green fringe.

both had 6 polyps when I put them in, now they only have 5 and the 6th polyp is gone on each frag, they close up and kinda shrink until they disappear

My tank is 60wx18dx24h and I have 2x175w MH 14k one on each side and a 96w PC 50/50 bulb and a 70w MH 6700k in the middle.

I have the two frags a little over half way down my tank.

my bulbs are about 4 inches off the top of the water.

My question is, is this too much or too little light, thanks?

I have 1 colony all the way in the bottom while I have a 25+ polyp frag 4" from the surface. Its proper light acclimation that prevents them from being burnt by lights. in a sense.

I have 8 T5s by the way.

They have been in the tank for over 3 weeks, and have been slowing disappearing.

I have looked at them extensively and have not seen any predators

I have greens at around the same location that have been doing great.

Try slowly move them up several inch's every couple of weeks. THey'll tell you wether they're happy or not.

What are your water parameters and current look of how your tank is set up? ( pumps, wavemakers, reactors, skimmer etc )

I'm pretty new at this but I had a similar problem. Did you dip them? I got mine from a freind about a month later I notice a lot of the polyps missing. I diped and found 4 zoaeating nudi's. Have had a problem since. . .
