Dragon Sea Moth

Shark, Build some Pod Piles. They are little piles of rubble. The pods can get in there to breed and the fish can't get in to eat them. It gives them a safe place to repopulate. Can you please post a video of your Sea Moth? I'd love to see it.

I like the pod pile idea to give the pods a fighting chance to reproduce. Another easy and fairly inexpensive addition that you might want to consider would be to make a DIY refugium (or several) from an Aquaclear 110 filter(s), which can be found at just about any big box retail pet store or LFS. It's a simple mod that just involves trimming the impeller to reduce flow, cutting/gluing the basket, and adding rock rubble. They come with ceramic filter media which can also be used in addition to the rubble. Mod plans/directions can be found on RC, or just by doing a google search. It's doubtful that these mini-refugiums will be enough to sustain a sea moth long term, but it won't hurt your chances and can be used in combination with other things :) Let me know if you have any questions about the mod. I'd be happy to help you out.

Pod piles are great but probably would not be sufficient in this sized tank for this fish. In any case, the OP has 2 mandarins and a pair of clownfish already resident. No way can this combination possibly work long term.
