Draining LTA

Hey all I have, a LTA that has pretty much remained on the same rock in the same location since I've had it (at least 10 months). This tank has been stable for quite a long time. This afternoon when the lights came on I see it has moved to the top of one of the overflows. The tenacles have actually gone through some of the holes in the box so they are on the drain side. The base of the anemone is still attached to the glass on the tank side of the overflow. Should I try to pull it back out or leave it alone? I would try to get a pic but its is in a horrible spot for a photo shoot.

Thanks
David
