Draining to Fuge Question

My 180 currently is draining into my fuge where i have a tiger tail cuke, a sand sifting star, a few nassarius, a brittle star and a couple of hermits..... The refugium has a deep sand bed about 5-6 inches.....

Is this set up ok, or am i setting myself up for long term failure?

how big is the fuge? i am sure the sand sifting star is robbing your sand of everything you have it (the sand) there for...

as long as there is no detritus building up in there i dont see a problem...just keep nice high flow through there...is there an algae in there too? macros i mean...

i would imagine some detritus is builing up there.... i guess whatever is completely liquified right? couldnt it settle in the fuge?

100% of the water is draining into the fuge, then going over to sump to be pumped back up to the first flow... is this enough flow? or do i need power heads and stuff like that?

I dont see any build up, but if i swipe my hand through the sand some cloudy water does come up. i was hoping thats what the critters in the fuge were eating.

I have my tank draining into my fuge and it has never given me a problem. My tanks been running now for 5 years now with no problems.
