ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423546099.355696.jpgTemporary hood. I am going to build another when I figure out which light system I am going with. Right now I have 3x250w MH and a few LED moonlight. What would be the best LED fixture to get for all types of corals?

I have to get the room cleaned up and I will post some pics of the pump room. Well what I have done so far.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423625744.500221.jpgI still have to drill this tank but it will be my first "chamber" in my sump system. It will house my Reef Octopus skimmer. I am thinking of putting my bio balls in it. I read you don't want them at the beginning because of the solid waste. Any ideas?

You can also see the Gree mini split unit. It heats and cools the room quickly and efficiently. It also has a dehumidifier built in it.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423626322.221040.jpgI have a shelf for the ballast for the aquarium lights. I have to get that cleaned up eventually. I have some cheap timers until I get the light system I want/need.
The tank below is a 40 gallon and will be my refuge. It will dump into the 100 gallon mixing/return tank. I still need to figure out where to put my UV sterilizer to get the best out of it.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423626956.500856.jpgThis is my frag tank down low. I plan on having another pump cycle water from my return tank to keep it in the system. The tank up high will be my quarantine tank. I still have to get a filter for it. What else do I need for the quarantine tank, besides a light and heater?
The upper shelf has my meds, test kits, and additives.
Then my test/frag table. My wife bought me the barstool for Valentine's Day. She is coming around.

Any ideas and improvements would be appreciated. Let me know what you guys think. I estimate that I should have around 450 gallons of water cycling through my system. What do you guys suggest I put in my refuge?

Guys I do need some help. I am trying to figure out which set of LED lights to purchase. I want the best "bang" for my buck. I have been reading and learning and understand the colors I think I need. I have read that 1 watt per gallon and 3 watt per gallon is needed. I heard I should go by par value. I just need some direction. Thanks for any knowledge you can bestow on me.

I'm slightly confused about how you built the tank stands. I see a lack of legs... Did you have the foresight to use the studs in the walls and drywall over?! Cause that would be awesome.

Look into reefbreeders mark, have had great success with the photon series. If you have any questions regarding the light you can go to their website and contact Logan. He is very helpful and will help with choosing the lights that are best suited for your build.

Guserto. I did build the room and I installed backing in the walls for everything. However, the tanks are still empty so there isn't much weight. I will install kickers under the tanks similar to the ones under my frag/test table.
Gibsonnnn I will look into the Reefbreeder photon series light. I really appreciate the info. I bought some off eBay and they are cheaply built and I don't want to make that mistake again.
