Dreaminmel's slice of the ocean

Thanks all :)

How long did it take for the clowns to take a liking to the froggie?

I can't remember exactly how long but it was definately within a couple months at the most. Every so often the female goes and fluffs up the Todd's too. Neither coral seems to care in the least. I'm curious to see if they switch to the RBTA once it gets bigger.

Great shots, Mel! Love the mandarins. I'm hoping the clowns I get someday will host my frogspawn without hurting it. Very cool! The bar goby was one of the fish I considered, they must be so fun to watch as a group.

Thanks! My old mandarin pair were the resident favorites of friends who came over and called them "the trippy fish". With their blue flowy fins and the amazing color pattern they are just a beautiful fish. The bar gobies/zebra dartfish are very fun to watch. They love to play in the current and when they open up their mouths to eat...? It's hard to describe... mouth parts move and it makes it look like they've got a fu man chu thing dropping down below their mouths. They're getting fed pretty well over the past few days because seeing their mouths do that fascinates me. lol

Props to G @ ABC for today. I grabbed a hammer frag in a color I didn't have, a sweet, sweet zoa frag and an acro frag that I have a feeling is going to be one of my favs. Also, got a ton of advice and suggestions on the upcoming 180g and am convinced on adding at least a couple big eye soldierfish. He proved that they do come out in the daylight after all. :D

New BTA from the Syracuse adventure today. (not the most spectacular pic, been a long day lol)

Nice pickup Mel. It was a pleasure meeting you and Kat and thanks for putting up with all my questions. I so wanted to get that yellow carpet...

Nice Mel!
One of these days, I'm going to come with you guys for a magical-mystery-tour. You always come home with pretty pretty things! :) :)

ooooooooooooooooooooo.......that is a sweet one, Mel! It was a great price, too! Lizz, for sure a road trip with Mel and I is an adventure. Bring safety gear.

Thanks for the comments all. :)

Dave, Questions don't bother me so feel free to ask and I'll always try to help. Plenty of people here helped me years ago so I love to pass along the knowledge when I can.

Playing around with the camera and got a different pic of the blasto.
