There is a fish store here in Charlotte, NC they are one of the biggest around "been in magazines" but they have a big system with sharks in it i belive and they have a big driftwood stump in it....I didn't think you could put in driftwood in a SW system, but i have a fish only tank big Lionfish, Colored Angler, Indian Mud Moray, Green Wolf Eel, Big Tomato Clown, Marine Betta, and a Squirrel Fish and was wondering if i could cure drift wood in a SW barrel or something for a long time and make it safe for my system. Or would it effect to PH too much? any inputs would be helpful.
