drill collection cup?

Has anyone drilled their collection cup for a drain in any of the 9000 series skimmers?

why drill ,you still have to maintain the cup so it will keep producing foam at a reasonable rate.

well would it fill up more than once a week? would you have to clean the neck out more than that?

Ideally you would clean the cup every few days, a dirty neck inhibits foam production. By drilling the cup you defeat a lot of the cups features, such as stopping skimming when the cup is full.

i didnt realize it would do that! seens as it seems ill need to upkeep it anyways, i dont think ill be doing this.
