drilling a 265 gl ?

how do i know if i have tempered glass ? wanting to drill tank and have heard bad stories about tempered glass also any other suggestions would be great as well!

You usually can find that information on the manufacturers website. I was able to determine that my 265 was not tempered by looking on their website and calling them to verify. Others say that you can hold a pair polarized glasses sideways with a bright light behind the tank and if glass looks spotted or hatched it is tempered. You should see a difference in the glass when you hold the glasses normal and sideways.
