I don't know much about Petaluma. Have you thought about getting a hole and doing it yourself. There are all kinds of threads on it. Might not be worth it if you only need one hole each of two different sizes though.
i have thought about it. but i am worried that i will break the tank and yes there are going to be 2 holes different sizes. unless anyone has any better ideas. once i again i am new at this big reef tank thing.
If you go slow and use lots of vegetable oil its supposed to be pretty easy. I think the price of a hole saw is close to the price of a hole. I have an arbor if you need one that will cut the cost by $20. so all you would need are the cutting bits.
