Drive Unit

The Drive unit you sent me for my 6100.10 does not spin and sets off the alarm. I got it to work for a few week, but jammed up again on Saturday night. The unit was thoroughly cleaned when I received the drive unit. When I put in the old drive unit it works fine.

The other thing I noticed is that the new Drive Unit is shaped differently than the old one. It fans out near the top where the collar is located. IMO the fit is too tight and that is why it is jamming up.

What to do?

I feel like I just wasted $32 on something that does not work properly.

Did the new drive unit you got come with the "collar"? I think it was likely missing. We had a batch that were missing the bearings. These have to be changed as well to accept the new shape. If it was missing I can send the bearings you need and I am sorry for the inconvenience. The shape was changed to further reduce noise and lower the running temperature.
