Driver burned out

Roger, my 6105 driver fried a few days ago. Smelled like a ballast had burned up.

Can just the driver be replaced?

I assume you mean the power supply? The driver is the circuitry which runs the DC motor and it is inside the pump, the only external part is the power supply.

Yes, it is part 6105.240, you can order it on Amazon or Tunze.com.

Roger, my mistake. It's actually the metal box for the 6100 power head that burned out. Can that be changed and if so what's the part number?

It could be changed if you can find a good working driver. These pumps ceased production in mid 2007 and since early 2010 the major electrical parts have not been available. Best bet is eBay or the used forums here. If someone has a pump that does not work, but the driver does not get hot, it would be a dead motor, good driver as long as it is for sure the power supply works.
