Driver Rattling

Hey Roger, I have an old 7240.27 driver on my 6100. The driver is not alarming but has a constant squeaking when powered. It sounds as if something inside is rattling.

The only noise maker inside is a small piezo speaker, a weak noise could be caused by some moisture damage to the driver or that the pump drive unit (prop assembly) is just a bit dirty or worn or assembled wrong. I would start by completely disassembling and cleaning the pump.

I disassembled the pump and I am missing the red o-ring that sits on the bottom of the impeller assembly. Is this an oring I can find or is it a Tunze product?

In a pinch you could probably find a comparable one at a hardware store, it is 13 by 2.5mm, however we do have them, they are fairly cheap, about $1.50, part 3000.612.
