Driveway Heat

Does anybody know where to get some Prestone Driveway Heat during the summer?

I have checked the local HD,Lowes,Menards,and Ace. Still have to try Farm and Fleet. I was just wondering if anybody knew so I dont have to drive all over the place.

Your not gonna find that this time of year. Maybe just maybe try automotive store around U.

You can get calcium chloride pellets at Ace stores. They just have to fetch it from storage. Or a cement yard for dowflake.

check your local walgreens, that's where i got mine last time.

How much do you need? I believe have some (1/2 - 3/4 of a jug I think); it may be 2-3 years old but should still work. What do you need it for?

I do have 3/4 of a jug - in the garage. Yours on your next visit. FYI - I think I got the returns, sump plumbing and closed the hole in the sump done. Only screwed up 3 times.....

All local Ace Hardwares carried 50lb bags of pure calcium chloride pellets made by Dow ... the bag said "Calcium Chloride" on it, white bag with black letters, on back said made by Dow. Same stuff spec wise as Prestone, all of which is same as Peladow.

Most of those local stores keep their extra stock in a storage room. Mine here in Oak Park just told me in Spring that when I needed it to call and they would fetch it. Yours will likely do the same.
