droopy 6101's?

I have two 6101's and I bought the magnet mounting kit for them. Unfortunetly, the 6101's seem to droop forward. Is there something I can adjust to make them point completly straight or even slightly upward?

common problem. best solution I have found it to flip them upside down on the magnet holder. The magnet is basically below the pump. They will point lightly upward. Take a look at the current TOTM to see how the tunzes are mounted.

you may have to do something so they dont swivel on their own. I used a zip tie.

Or you can use the plastic screw that came with the magnet mounting kit and the suction cup with the nut insert inside. The suction cup will go into the panel and the tip of the plastic screw will support the bottom of your tunze to help push it upward. Like such...:D

Here is the screw

Interesting solutions so far thanks guys =)

My tunze arent mounted straight, they are both slightly swiveled. I think that prevents me from using Jar's suction-cup screw-brace plan. Rishma, do you have a pic of how the tunze is secured with a zip tie? Can you still mount the tunze at an angle and secure it with the zip tie?

Some holder come with a plastic screw which help keeping the pump in place. You can use that screw to secure the pump. If your pump slightly angle, you can angle the magnet holder a bit to raise the nozzle without flip the pump upside down.

If you look closely, you will notice i slightly angle the magnet holder a bit to raise the nozzle on my pump

I have not tried Jar*head's approach. How much of an angle can you get?

i dont have a picture handy, but I can take one later today if needed. It is actually very simple, I just didnt explain very well.

The zip ties go down through the hole in the center of the swivel mount. Yes, you can definitely mount at an angle. The zip ties help keep it at the angle you want. When mounted upside down, the little teeth on the swivel that normally hold the pump at the right angle are not engaged so it tends to turn on its own due to the force of the pump. The zip ties just cinch it down against the swivel so it wont swing around when the pump turns on.

Does that make more sense? If not, I'll take a picture but I cannot reach it from my couch ;)
