Dropped my razorblade

It fell into a place in my overflow box that I can't reach my hand. This is bad isn't it?

Could you use a magnet to move the razor to a place where you can reach it?

I thought about that too. I will have to tear down all my rockwork to reach the otherside of the overflow. What a pain!!!! Will it hurt anything if i just leave it in?

When it starts to rust... maybe. I had an impeller rust once that caused all kinds of chemical havoc in a about 150 gallons of water. Replaced impeller, viola! Problem solved. Don't be in a huge rush, though.

The simplest solution is to get one of those magnetic pick-up tools that telescope out like an antenna. If you have a Harbor Freight or many even a Big Lots you should be able to pick up one for about a buck.

Could you tie a magnet to a string and kinda dangle it down in there? Maybe it'll grab on to it.

Take the impeller out of a powerhead and tie a string to it and dangle it down in the box like Tammy suggested.
