Dry Rock

When we had that meeting over at Mark's a while back a few people mentioned where they order dry rock from but I forgot to write it down. Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks,
Justin

I got mine at BRS for the price you can't beat it IMO. Good selection too if you like different styles.

Marco...that's the one they were talking about. Looks like they have less of a leaching problem than the BRS Pukani. I might have to give them a try.

I know the rock = 1 to 1.5 x water volume isn't a set rule, but using that as an estimate would I use the water volume of my DT or the volume of my DT+sump+fuge?

My DT is going to be 120g, remote sump 90g, and remote fuge 75g. So that's a pretty big difference between 120-180lbs vs. 285-427lbs.

I believe its all three. But its really about preference. Some people just like more rock in their DT, some like a more open look

Justin, typically it's your DT. Everything else in your aquarium is just an additive to the DT. The only exception I can think of of is your chemicals. Although some people keep extra rock in the sump.

I'm definitely going to putting rock in my sump/fuge. I'm looking at doing a pretty minimalistic rockscape in my DT, so I'm going to start with 100# dry + the 50# dry I already have and see how that looks/plays and go from there.

Thanks guys!
