now i do not own a vortech yet i am just doing more research because i like to know everything possible before i make a purchase. now i wont be purchasing just yet as the tank i am planning on putting a vortech in is way off in the future.
now my question. can the dry side be submerged? i ask because i have seen several pictures of tanks with vortechs and it looks as if some of the are mounted to the overflow walls which would mean the dry sides are in water on the otherside of the wall. now am i just confused by what i am seeing or are the dry sides submergible or is it that these people have come up with some way of mounting the dryside in an overflow and somehow keeping it out of the water?
