Fort Jefferson is the coolest place i have ever been. Anyone that hasn't been there needs to go check it out. I would love to get back there and camp. Those pictures are fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

how do you go about getting to the island and camping? Is there a boat or something you pay to drop you off and pick you up next day? Is it a camp ground with restrooms or anything like that? Very interested in checking this place out my next trip to key west. Specially to see that night sky!

Yes, you take a ferry from Key west (2 hoursish) to the island.
