Very nice Tweaked!! Whenever I get my Dakota up here from VA we oughtta truck it up. She's my little garage queen. I showed/raced her a lot until the last race when i blew a rear main out. As ya know little things like that are caused by bigger issues that havent reared its head yet, lucky i got it apart before I tore it up. After the boy was born I just couldnt find time to get her together again so I had to leave her behind. Hopefully this fall I can get down and get the ol truck running again and get back to my other hobby of shows and racing (legal of course).

Sounds sweet! I have loved minis and trucks since my dad gave me a mini dodge ram when I turned 15. We lived in the high desert of cali, so I was allowed to drive as long as I stayed on the dirt roads- pssssh - that was the entire desert lol. It was a blue mini I heated the springs on back in the early 90's when it was big in socal to have a mini truck with a loud system. This time around I wanted to go big. In addition, I have just passed the tradition on and gave it to my son when he turned 15 in Jan as my father did. He said no of course at first, but his girlfriend loves the truck and he's coming around. He said dad, that's your baby lol

haha, you sound like me. I got an old 91 ranger I got before I graduated high school that I've been driving ever since. Got bored a few years ago and wedged a 92 mustang 5.0 in it. Soon as the boy is able to drive he's getting it Old truck don't cost me a thing (almost antique these days). Yep found a few pics of the Dak from the days after stroking and super charging it. I initially set the truck up for auto cross but then got into drag racing so 85% of the money dumped into it has been for HP and suspension:

Had time to get the waveline 6000 in. Replaced two pumps, mag drive 9.5 and a mj1200. Pump is great and more powerful at half the watts, plus the soft start is nice. Went with three valves and used one to return back to the skimmer side for sort of a recirculation. The other two are the return and media reactor.

Herbie style overflow

The main overflow is split between the skimmer section and the fuge via valves. The auxiliary dumps directly into the skimmer side

Well the stock ballasts couldn't run the Radiums, and the Hamilton M80s run the bulbs the way they should be. Something like over 300 watts a piece. These bulbs absolutely rock, and the colors of my fish now is just stunning.

I just bought that same tank today! Black silicone, rimless, beautiful. That's why I sent a request so I can keep an eye out so to know what to do with my own. Would you care to update us on this build. On your signature it says you have 3mp40's. What is your placement? It looks awesome by the way. I am going to build my stand and my sump/refugium so it will be a while until I'm setup but I'm super stoked at the pure beauty of this!!!
