DSLR choices

I'm not stuck on Nikon, but they seemed to have the best features in this price range.

Features in a body is the last thing you want to look at when deciding on a camera SYSTEM. Which is what you're doing. Bodies are disposable, lenses you keep. Make your decision based on the quality of lenses the manufacturer sells in your price range.


I'm a Canon guy, but frankly, if I was starting over, I'd be looking hard at Pentax and their pancake style prime lenses... although the in-body image stabilization worries me.

I have sold the old body and got a new one but still keep all lenses I have.:D
