DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

hi chingchai

amazing tank & beautiful collection of astonishing fish

what is the temperature in your system ?

Im also interested to order 2 Odontanthias fuscipinn

are the ok with 26 degrees ? (celsius)

Cheers

I don't know much about them, but I doubt they will adapt to reef lighting so they would be better off in a dimly lit (blue) species tank.

You can always have the poor mans Odontanthias fuscipinnis (Butter Hamlet from Florida) :)

They even come in blue :)

and a poor man's melanopus clown :)

* Edit: Maybe I opened my mouth too quickly, I read on WWM that they adapt well to captivity. That softens the blow of the price a little.

but the need 24 degrees

anyone has any experience with them in 26 degrees ?:sad1:

chingchai, I know you posted the answer earlier but I forget where it is, what is the brand of epoxy you used for holding the rocks together? I remember it being a really strong type of epoxy that had to be special ordered. Thanks

Mine is 24 celcius.
26 should be okay. But cooler is better.
