wow.. just wow!
your tank should be a tourist destination in bangkock. $50 per viewing..
Sir
Another question.what is the oldest fish do you have?
The reason I asked is because my friend sold his 18 years old fish to start over again because he can't keep corals a year after this picture was taken.
but we can't figure it out why ? Tested everything since he is a scientist ( literally )but all of his fish was so very fat and very healthy. And I am the opposite since I like fish more![]()
but I can't keep some alive for more than a year after i introduce large angels in my tank. before that I kept a tiny blue tang a size of a quater To a almost 10" monster before I give him away after 5 years.
Chingchai, tank is looking superb as usual! Did you find that the hawkfish are eating your cleaner shrimps - peppermint shrimps?
Really Boon Tastic, your friend is amazing. Is he reef photographer ?
Thank You
Chingchai,
Can you tell me what camera Boon used?
What lens and did he use any flash?
Thanks
Peter

Hi Ching Chai,
I have registered especially to comment on your thread and ask you a question. First of all, you have done an amazing tank build! What an impressive ammount of work you have done, it makes me want to start over on my own tank
I can show you mine, but it is on a dutch forum and i would not dare to hijack your thread. To put it in as little words as possible, my tank is 150 gallon freshwater tank, 100% DIY, outside from wood + epoxy and controlled by a Profilux III. The tank is connected to my sewer and i do an automatic WC of 5% each day... A lot of work has gone into that, so i can imagine what you have done!
Now for the question. In about 4 weeks, i am going to visit bangkok, and i am going to stay in a hotel near the tourist locations. I saw on Google maps that you are not far away from that location. Can you DM/Email me if it is possible to visit your tank (and take some pictures)? Please send me your google maps address link if possible, and contact details.
Furthermore i have a slightly off topic question about good Freshwater aquarium shops (specialized in planted tanks) so if you can answer that also that would be very helpfull.
Thank you for this inspiring thread!
Chingchai, I have seen you post on other threads here on RC that one of your dream fish is a tri-color tang, and you don't have one in your display yet. But i found this YouTube video of your QT tank, and I was extremely surprised to see what you had in there:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18iCdFK1Rfk&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
Do you still have it? Did it make it past QT?
Sorry, couldn't get the video to embed.
Which one you are referring to?What type of starfish is that?
