DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Oops.
Sorry Sunny. I forgot to answer your question.
1. Yes, I did have some problem with the clam on the sandbed. Eunicid worm will harm them if they are not so healthy.
2. I use Two Little Fishies' AquaStikâ„¢ Underwater Epoxy Putty to attach coral.

Thank you for remembering me, Ching.

The reason I ask about the clams is I have a very healthy derasa for about 4 months that is currently sitting on the sandbed (1.5") and I certainly don't want to lose it. I've tried putting a rock under the sand for it to attach itself but so far no luck. I trust your skills as I've seen your consistently amazing results. So you don't put any rock under your clams or are they sitting on the eggcrate?

Just checked the other threads you started before Ching, from the begining you always research the excellence where you already archieve the perfection, it's really a good lesson to me, always put the level higher every time for every thing. It's not only your dream, but it's also becoming my dream. thanks again for all the time you take for this thread sharing with everyone.

Ching, thank you for responding to my previous question! I think its awesome you take the time out to reply to everyone!

One more question, do you plan on slowly moving your old tank into this new tank? Eventually do you plan on shutting down your old tank and only having 1 tank?
Thanks

Yes, I will shut down the old tank.

I saw someone taking photos on the webcam :D I still cant get over how amazing this tank is ! I probly allready missed this but, what are your plans for fish ? when are you going to start adding them ? you have probly allready explained but there are sooooo many pages to go through lol I have been going through and it is wonderful :)

I am planning to add some new small fishes this week.
And I will wait around one month before moving all the fishes from the old tank to this tank.

Hi, slightly unrelated, but what 3D modelling program can I use to "design" my new tank. Would like to use one of the programs that others on the site have used. As I want to see a 3D representation of what the tank will look like before buying glass etc

The program name is 3d Max.

If it was on 28/09 at 16:15 BKK time then its me.
I would like to thank you Ching for your warm welcome shown to me and my family and also showing me both of your TANKS.It was a truly amazing.
The corals are doing fine and hope it grows half as good as yours.:inlove:

Three Wine Cheers for Ching..

Hi Haksar,

It's good to know corals are doing fine.
Thanks for coming.
You have a lovely family.

All the best,

Ching,

Just got through the entire thread, pre and post split, and like others have mentioned you have accomplished something very unique.

I noticed a few pages back you mentioned you use a product by the name of Coral Rx when introducing new corals to your system. I am currently looking for a similar product and thought I would check it out. However, after looking at their information page, I noticed this line "Coral Rx may not be effective on Acropora Red Bugs." Is there anything else that you do besides this dip to ensure the corals going into your system are free from parasites? Have you noticed red bugs after using this product?

Warm Regards,
Brian

Brian. Thanks for your kind words.
Yes, Coral Rx is not 100% killed red bug or either flatworm.
But I think it is the best product I can find at the moment.

Well, Peter, after seeing Chingchai´s project, i can´t say that anything is impossible...with a very well done project, and enought "guts" to realize it, a wine dinner at Chingchai´s Reef Paradise doesn´t sound too impossible....:spin2:

Let´s roll the dices and see what the future bring to us...

The table is ready. Just waiting for your wines.:wavehand:

Yes, putting flat rock under the clam would help. But it takes time for the clam to attach the rock. Maybe you should let it settle in the sump first.

Pascal. Thanks.
Making dream comes true is definitely the good memory. Right?
