Very Beautiful Tank:bounce3:

I miss your lovely Couple of Yellow Head Jawfish.Could you Take some picture for them:p

It's the most amazing Tank i've ever seen.Wish you can build up a wonderful Great Barrier Reef !

rayor. Thank you.
I will take some pics of Yellow Head Jawfish for you.

Chingchai, when I watched the second video above, I said to myself "My God, this man's a genius". I just love the way you've taken a concept and seen it through to the end with no compromise on quality anywhere. From the design, to the equipment, to the backroom equipment, it's all beautifully done and expertly conceived.

You've obviously brought together some exceptionally talented people to help you deliver this achievement, but above all else, this is your creation!

I'm one of those people that winces when people nominate new tanks for TOTM, but in this case, I can see it being a clear favorite once it's settled and established. Thank you so much for sharing.

One question if you don't mind? What is this in your softie tank? Very unusual and striking.

Tom. Thanks for your kind words.
That coral is Tiger Sponge.

Commonly called a 'tiger sponge', it's actually a species of encrusting tunicate from what I understand. I've never known anyone to keep them alive in captivity. They are notoriously impossible to maintain... along with a couple other specimens in that softie tank. So nobody go out and buy these without knowing exactly what you're getting into please... they basically do NOT survive in captivity from what I understand.

I'm of course not usually one to support the importation of impossible-to-keep species like these sponges and the dendronepthea. Ching I was hoping you could elaborate on the research you did along with the precautions you're taking and efforts being made to keep these notoriously impossible species?

Reefbuddha. You are exactly right.
These corals are almost impossible to survive in closed system.
I did lose so many of them.
Strongly not recommend to buy or keep it.

However, this is just like a trial experiment.
Only time will tell I can achieve it or not.

Congratulations!!! Chingchai

You come to visit,
with a bottle of Bulgarian wine. ;)

tisho. Thanks.
That is a good looking wine.:D

Mr. Ching your tank look awesome. I like how you display the tunze stream pumps. IMO those pumps work best up to 72" long. I will stop by Thailand for 1 night on my trip to Vietnam for Recovery mission. I wish to have the time to stop by and check out the tank.

im sure Chingchai is taking slow, steady and corals need space to grow.
beside, not that you want to put corals in then put. need to wait for shipments on gems.

and Chingchai, I have been watching your tank build for a long time and I'm very impressed. Way to go Chingchai, hope I am welcome to visit you when I go BKK.

and btw, I seen your skimmer personally at Reef depot. it makes my supermarin300 look so small! cheers dude

DeLaW. Thanks and cheers.

Any sign of a cycle thus far? I noticed a small amount of algae on the powerheads, but much less than normal on a tank in this stage of life! I'm curious, I couldn't help but notice that you have everything labeled in english. Is that the dominant language in tiawan? I fiqured it would be chinese. please excuss my ignorance on the issue.

salty55. Probidio product(Biodigest and Bioptim) is really big help to shorten algae bloom.
In Thailand(not Tiawan or Taiwan), English is second language.

Hmmm, I'm in awe. A setup to rival public aquariums. When this starts to grow out it's going to be one of the best ever.

It is missing some large show fish. I couldn't see any fish until the camera went close in. Any plans for large tangs or angels?

Laurence. Thanks.
I do have Achilles, Gem, Black Tangs and Interuptus, Resplendent Angels from my old tank.
