DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Mr. Chingchai,
after going through some 170 odd pages for past2 days,all i can say is...
This tank is simply spellbounding!!!....in every aspect...you are a perfectionist....

as far as i have understood,that your QT tank is linked with the main tank..as well as softy tank...
my question is if again a ich/velvet arrive with your fish,even if you put it in QT,won't there be a possibility that it may infect the inhabitants of main tank...?

The QT is a separate freestanding system. 170 Gals if I remember correctly. It has it's own sump, skimmer, lighting, etc. The two systems are not connected in any way. The softie and frag tanks are both plumbed to the 1000g DT.

$600.00 per month, As I heard someone else say on this forum before, Thats how the big boys do it. I have used words like awesome and fantastic in discribing your tanks, I was wrong. The other pics were just alright, the video of your tank is simply AWESOME.

not to interfere but there is quite an extensive discussion of the lighting with pictures in the first part before the split. Its worth the time to find it, there's alot of good stuff in the commentary as well.

Fantastic progress on everything. I love how every single thing in your tank looks healthy, vibrant, and happy. Everything is thriving.

On to my main question, how much do you pay per kilowatt of electricity. Here in the USA, specifically California we pay by tears. At the highest and most expensive tear I pay .22 cents per Kilowatt.

My electric bill can be $385.00, especially when I use my air conditioning during the summer months.

My question to you is, how much do you pay per kilowatt in Thailand? My estimation is that you pay much less than what we pay in the states? I'm just curious.

I am speechless! It took me almost a week to read thru 170 pages. Everytime I thought it couldn't get better, it did.

This is just like the Winter Olympic where the world is watching the best in the world perform. A gold medalist indeed, ChingChai! Congratulations on your achievement.

At the moment, I don't have any fish in my QT tank.
I did lose some fishes in QT tank.
I guess the tank is not quite stable yet or maybe some toxic from fake corals. Who know?

I did use Maxspect with my QT tank.
I think it is quite acceptable for small and medium size tank.
