Dual actinic light replacement question.

Hi everyone.
I have an older CURRENT Satellite 36" light fixture # 1023.
I have noticed that my dual actinic bulb that is blue on one side and purple on the other is not too bright anymore.
I am having a hard time finding the 96w version of this dual color bulb but noticed there are some with the dual blue bulbs available.
Is it OK to replace with one of those or should I find the blue / purple one oem part # 2046?
Thanks.
Chris.

You can replace any 96W compact fluorescent (cf) bulb with any other brand or type 96W cf bulb - as long as the pin configuration on the end is the same. You're either going to have the 4 contacts on the end all lined up in a single row, or lined up in a 2x2 array (square pin). I believe all the Current bulbs are square pin.

Most of the online aquarium stores carry a decent supply of Current bulbs, but I've found Dr Foster & Smith carries the largest variety. You can get either the 420/460 dual actinic there, as well as both bulbs 420 or both bulbs 460.
