Thanks for appreciating my tank, everyone.
Makes me feel a bit more contented with my setup despite being a 'grass is always greener on the other side of the fence' kind of guy.
Sorry for the late replies. I've been out during this festive season. I've also entered in the January NTOTM contest, so I'm being hopeful lol. I know I can't compete with the other tanks - just one look at a metal halide-lit tank and it is just leaps and bounds better looking that my T5's. Blah! :crazy1:
Inspirational tanks!
Let's see some equipment shots
I'll try to post when I have time. At the moment it's quite impossible to take good shots of the equipment (skimmer, PO4 reactor) since they're external and at the back of the stand. I'll have to move my computer table to be able to take decent pictures.
I am in love with the bottom tank. Both are stunning, thanks so much for sharing.
I prefer simple plumbing, it makes it so much easier to deal with any problems. =)
I love simple pipings too, because it makes everything easy for me. If I could make a complex maze out of my plumbing with extra benefits.. I'm all over that. Hahaha.
Absolutely stunning. How often are you feading the sun corals?
The supersun corals (different from regular sun corals) are fed when I feel like it. So far they have been nice that they are always open even if I don't feed them.
Anyway, I have made some small changes in my tank.
I've added a new clam. Saw it as blue at the store but when I got home, realized it is purple. :hmm6:
Placed the pink carnations at the back where it's covered by a rock. It's always open now compared to before. Note that only a small portion of the carnation frag can be seen in this picture.
Got 2 small feather dusters from a friend - pink and white.
I removed the small sun coral and gave it to my GF. The acans on the floor took its place on top of a rock. In just a few days, there have been an increase in red stripes!
