Dual reactor question

Is it cool if I have my reactors pull and dump from/in the same sump chamber? Thats how I plumbed it at least...

I have a lil build thread going, but figured this particular question get more attention here. I know some reactors that come plumbed with a pump do, but I m not sure if people add pipe and what not.

Its just going to be GFO and AC as of now. Flow through my sump is pretty decent.

Received some replies back. Vertex said its no problem and Ryan from BRS says that will be perfectly fine. They will still process the same amount of water regardless of which chamber they are pulling from or pushing to.

So thats good enough for me and thats how its going to be. lol!

Well, GFO falls through the foam pads... Carbon is fine. Im looking into replacement pads and researching bio-pellets.

In regards to bio-pellets does the outlet need to be plumped to the skimmer section? Some say yes, others say don't worry about it. Ive also read people plumbing it directly to their skimmers...

That's what what the bio-pellet manufacturers recommend.

^ Yeah, thats what I have came to the conclusion of after researching it last night. This is what I have come up with. Either a "T" or a 90 degree fitting. Im leaning more towards the "T" as the skimmer should be pulling a lot more than the reactors pushing... What do you guys think?

The tee should be fine. The elbow = bad idea.
