Has anybody ever run 2 skimmers in there tank at the same time?
Does it work? Would you recomend it?

so if i use one that is rated for 80gallon and another that is rated for 135 gallon then I have enough for 215 gallons? does it work like that?

It just depends on the skimmers man, what exactly are you working with and what are you going to keep.

I have a euro reef rs80 and I am upgrading tanks from a 75 to a 125 plus 55 sump. I don't know if I want to spend $450 on a large enough euro reef. but I can get another RS80 for about $120

I ran two equally rated skimmers on the tank at the same time and one basically did no skimming at all. The other one took care of everything.

i think its actually better to have 2 as opposed to one. that way when you need to clean, or service one, you still have the other one working. i dont see a downside to it.

No problem, set one to skim wet and the other to skim dry. Just make sure you don't go by manufacturer's ratings as they're not worth beans sometimes.

By setting the riser tube higher you will get more wet and thus tea like coloration and the tube lower is dry and blacker gunkier skimmate I believe
