Dubuque area LFS

Howdy folks.

In 3 weeks we are moving to the Dubuque IA area. What's the best saltwater store there or the nearest one?

Probably Aquatic Environments in Davenport or Madison would be closest? I'm not from that area though.......... the map below the addresses has more than what's listed, although all are not the "best" places to get SW supplies.

I'm from Dubuque (Asbury actually). Unfortunately we don't have any nice LFS's - I usually go to Davenport. I do get most supplies from The Fish Shack though (local), their prices are usually pretty good.

I also live in Dubuque and find the pickings here rather slim. The only real option as said before is the Fish Shack. however I think their selection is rather slim but OK prices. I always travel to Devenport for most of my purchases (when I don't get a better deal online). Petco has some SW but I strongly discourage you form going there as their fish are really in bad shape usually.

I think they do have RO water. Not sure as I have never been in for that. Yeah I think that's the website. Not sure how up to date it is though.

How much RO water are you looking for?

Doc, I'll need about 60gal. I've compressed my 2 55's down to 2 30's.

If Tom can find the store I should have tanks waiting on my stock.He said the only fish store he could find in the yellow pages, the address was wrong or something.

Hey if you can't find anything in the area I am outfitting my RO unit with all new filters. I could drop it off for you guys to use if you need to get started. I only use it every other or 3 days but I could stockpile some top off water if you need. But not sure if fish shack does RO water. I'd check with them.
