Duncan closing everyday ideas??? ?

I have this duncan since month one ,and never I saw the coral closing like that any idea what could b?

Ps the mushrooms just move there the day I took the picture tje duncan have aprox one month closing like that I can't notice any coral stinging , same spot for over 6 months same flow paternt same light

I think I see the culprit on the top left corner. That looks like a torch and they have VERY long feeding tentacles that come out at night after a few hours of lights out. You may not be noticing this, but it looks to me that this may be the issue.

Below are a few pictures of these sweeper tentacle in action. They can reach out 5" or more around them.

I would try moving it a bit further way from the torch and monitor it for a few days.

Other than that, all I can say is, post your parameters so some of the more experienced reefers here can better assist.

:/ all my test kit are expired m going to try a lfs to get parameters but I do 10 gal every week the tank is 65 , I have very low phosphate cause two or three month ago was fighting briopsis algae and the algae retrieve to almost 0
 
I agr3ed with the torch may b the problem but why now? He was doing fine for aborr 6 month and suddenly start to closing like that , anyways m going to move it to another place thank all for the comments

In 6 months they have grown even just a little now they can reach each other
 
Hey... it doesn't hurt to also run to LFS and have them test the parameters. but just as a safety precaution, you should still move it to a different spot. Maybe it is a combination of things, but this one looks like a simpler solution to try for now.
