duncan coral color change with light

Does duncan coral change color with different lights.

I can get a great deal on some duncans that have green centers and light colored tenticals, or I can pay twice as much for some with dark green centers and nearly purple tenticals. Is the better looking color worth the extra cost, or will the coral change color with lighting?

I bought some wild duncans about a month ago that were about the size of a dime and light green, with yellow tentacles and now they are about the size of silver dollars, same color though they have a bit more of a pinkish overall color. Just feed them regularly.

I have heard that all duncans eventually turn green.

I have a colony I got from Roes about 6-8 months ago. They were light purple with yellow tips. They are now all a dull purple, and have stayed about nickel sized with small tentacles. All my others started out one shade or another of green, and have stayed that way. Polyp and tentacles have gooten huge in a couple of them.
