Duncan Coral Question

I fed my Duncan today and what happened next reminded me of my party days.

Its tentacles retracted and it seemed to be puking. It was clear mucus that was stretching its mouth.

What is this horrid looking stuff?

He is just getting rid of the digested food. Mine is usually dark not clear.

I was thinking the same thing but ive never seen the waste be clear so I didnt wanna comment until someone else said something

After a little bit of research, well a lot of research, I have come to the conclusion that it is normal. The Duncan retracted its tentacles and puffed its mouth up and opened wide and this (I said white) but off white gook came out of it. The coloring of it being off white, basically light brown, has led me to find an article on it and can confirm that is was just pooping..

Same thing happens to mine. The more I feed him in one shot, the more hungover he looks. Mine is making new heads like crazy so I wouldnt be worried. Good luck.

Yeah. My Duncan didn't look like anyone elses. Come to find out it was a Aussie Duncan. Long and thick tentacles vs the short stringy ones I keep seeing. I thought mine was stressed out for a while until I found a photo of one like mine on the interwebs. Currently has 4-5 baby heads on it.
