durso or stockman? pros/cons

Im in the planning stages of my next set up and was curious to know if there are any pros/cons with using either if these setups. im currently running a durso, but im trying to minimize the amount of space my overflow box will take. all input is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I had a Durso but it did not take care of the noise so I got a Stockman and after a few minor adjustments made my system very quiet, I am using the new Stockman style which by the way takes pretty much the same space the Durso took from my overflow.

will a stockman be able to handle 160 gallons of water? also, does anyone have pics of their overflow set ups? thanks.

My tank has a 1" bulkhead that handles about 600 gph with my stockman so you should be fine. Sorry I don't have pictures of my tank with the Stockman yet.

here is my 'modified durso.

basically, it is just two shortened 1 1/2" elbows fitted onto a shortened T to get it to fit my overflow.

took only about an hour and a half.

i then drilled one 1/4" hole at a time (4 total) to stop the toilet flushing.

pretty close to dead silent with probably 1200 gph to 1500 gph going through it.
