Dust inside the lens

The lens is built in different groups. I haven't opened one of those, but on most primes I have opened, there's a forward element and a rear element. Getting inside those will absolutely require some special tools.
Seriously though, unless there's a lot of gross problems (haze, fungus), you'll never know except by eyeballing through it since they're not in focus.
On a final note: adding dust is easy. Reducing dust is extremely hard.
