Dust on rocks

I have noticed a very thin film of dust covering my rocks and was wondering what it is and if there is any way to remove it.

I have a 29g Eclipse with about 45lbs of LR and some corals.

I cause a hurricane in my tank using one of my loc lines (you could use a power head) and a piece of flexible hose and blow it off... your tanks filtration system should grab it up as it goes thru. Or you can syphon it off your rocks as well into a bucket with a hose.
