Duster reproducing

I have a few feather dusters that snuck in on a coral fragment. They have calcerous tubes and have been growing at a decent rate. I noticed last night that one of them was sticking VERY far out of the tube and began to excrete a bubble of some type round the neck of the tube, that was filled with very small pink spheres. The only think I can think of, is that it is reproducing in some way. I'm trying to get the photo off my phone so I can post it. Very cool.... At least I think.

Well, the duster released the small pink spheres from the sack it excreted. It really looks like it reproduced. No way of knowing where in the tank the spheres ended up..

Wow. So it's done it again!! According to my Apex it was a "new moon" 2 nights ago. I think the last time it did this was early in the lunar cycle as well. Same mucus like bubble with tiny pink spheres.

Very cool! I think it's quite possible that it is reproducing. I had a spawning pair of potters angels and I noted they were always most active right around the new moon. Probably gives eggs the best chance when there's no moonlight for predators to see them?
