My water parameters looking good.

I can see that I need iron and this will come Sunday with the rest of my KZ products as pohls extra and B Balance and amino accid concentrated...
I also dose more feed as than what I did before like reef tonic 1 and 2. Magnesium and strontium.

haha.... you know my thoughts on PO4 and NO3 both into Zero's'.
you are on my lowest limit:eek1:

I changed today my sendement filter and carbon block plus new silicate for my diy filter. Tds is 0.00000 again.
This is a good lesson for me to not always to trust your in line Tds meter.
This week I was also struggling with my Refractor meter the one on the Profilux and my normal one. Two different readings. Yesterday I bought a new one and let the lfs check my salinity and my worries where correct. 32 ppm...
I could see it on my strange magnesium, calcium KH figures.
My parameters where as follow.
Mag 1380
KH 10.5
Cal 480
K 380
Those measurements after a week that I did my water change. So this is stable.
Now I had third issue. My calcium reactor pH was 6... So I have changed my bubbles a minute and is 6.2 again.

What a week... Long live the reef tank... Tomorrow a new water change and see if it stay stable now.

Some photos how it is today with Dutch royalty reef...

I like the first frag...but that 2nd frag is just AWESOME!

I had a busy evening today. My second pH probe arrived together with my solenoid valve for my Co 2 for my Shuran calcium reactor, mijn Hanna low Phosphate tester, some KZ product as iron, aacc and some fish food extract and my weighing spoon for secure weighing. This all delivered by a friend of mine. Thank you Tolga.

By messaging my Phosphate is 0.03 and nitrates still 0.2 maybe 0.3. To have the right balance with my Phosphate and nitrate my nitrate suppose to be around 5.
I have added more fish and started already to feed more since the last two weeks but can't get my nitrates higher. Even I measured after I cleaned my sand bed and sump and overflow.
I need to get my nitrates higher and hope someone can help me with this.

Hai michel,
My advice to you as requested bij pm.
You phosphat is fine ! Don't go below 0,02ppm PO4 (not the same as "P" level)
You nitrate is a little low, some corals won't like that. Best is to target a 1-2.5ppm range. Don't go below 0,5 ppm.
NO3 at 5ppm is fine for soft and lps corals and clams, but some acro's don't like NO3 levels at 5ppm and up.

In DSR i use minerals and made solutions to adjust all water parameters. These minerals/solution can be dosed exactly using the DSR calculator.

Please contact me if you are interested in corrections using the DSR method.

just wait, your kh,ca.mg is above your own set target.
they will drop soon.

what is you intention?
if you like to set your target that low you need to extend your water change period, other wise i will be modified bij your change. The reef salt you use for wc is richer than you desire.

about KH mg and ca I am not that worried Glenn this is adjustment of calcium reactor. and weekly water change.

I am more worried about raising my Nitrate and phosphate.

Than you need to evaluate what is keeping it so low.
First start to look wat is removing your nitrate and phosphate.
What reactors are you using ?
GFO or biopellets ?

I only use biopellets what I already reduced in quantity of pellets... And of course my bbk skimmer.
I don't use GFO at all. I even started to feed more as normal.

Than reduce more. Until you get desired level, or start dosing po4 and no3 dsr style.
