Dwarf Angels - What Corals Do They Nip?

Dwarf Angels are natural born nippers. These little guys constantly pick at the substrate, and this includes but is not limited to the following: sand, rock, corals, glass, pumps, cables, fingers, other fish, algae, clams, inverts, etc.

I have a Coral Beauty and a Flame and neither ever eat any corals.

I only feed one time a day at like 9:30PM and I never see any coral looking like they were eaten.

I have 9 fish in my 80Gal and like I said I feed at night time always around 9:30 2 cubes and not only do the fish hog it down all the other things around the tank start moving instantly looking for scraps.

I then always take 2 strips off an algae sheet brown or green and poke a stick though them a few times and stick one end in a barnacle and lean it on the center brace and they all eat off of it and it is always gone by morning.

All the fish eat the algae sheets, 2 clowns, 1 hippo, 1 fox face, 1 6 line, 1 royal gramma, 1 flame, 1 coral beauty, 1 damsel.

I have a Flame Angel in LPS dominated tank and it does not nip at anything.

Corals include: trumpet, palm tree clove, 2 maze brains, trach and wellsiphyllia, hammer, grape, several acans, blasto merletti, chalice, zoos and a clam

Well, they are grazers on the wild reef, so they will graze on stuff in a tank also. At the moment, all I have in my reef are two species of Corallimorpharians ('Shrooms)and a pest anemone with a price on its head. Neither of my angels touch any of these, but they graze on the LR constantly. As one is a Bi-color I plan to be very selective as to what will be added to the tank.
Of course, currently my nitrates are so high ( but finally coming down!) that I cannot keep hard coral, so nothing will be added for the very near future..

Had experience with a flame angel.. He was a nipper.. Ate my acans and nipped at my SpS. Polyp extension on Acros were limited when he was in. After 2-3 months decided my corals were of more value. After a whole week i finally trapped the bastard and sold him. I would never put a Angel that has the possibility of nipping/eating coral in my reef again.

just my thought.
