I just bought a 20 gallon peninsula for the sale and I absolutely love lionfish. I want a dwarf fuzzy in the 20 he would be by himself so could they fit it the tank relatively comfortably?

I have 24 gallon and wondered if I could have one of those fish? Should they be in fish only with no coral, and what about a clean up crew? Should he be on his own or coukd I get another fish in there too?

A lionfish will eat any fish that they can fit in their mouth. So if he has a tank mate make sure that it isn't "snack size". They wont bother coral but may eat CUC (ornamental shrimps). Depends on the individual. They also shouldn't be housed with known fin nippers (puffers) as they will just stress the lionfish.

I kept my dwarf lions in a 30 when they were smaller, they actually do better in a 40-50. They also are more social than people think, they seem to happier with other dwarf lions to hang out with, I have 4 and multiple caves and cliffs, yet they all 4 will be hanging out in the same cave like a bunch of bats.
