Dwarf Seahorse Nursery Tank

Hi! I have 6 Dwarf Seahorses right now, and I can tell one of them is pregnant. I am expecting babies any day now. How do I go about setting up a nursery tank for them? I have a small 1 gallon tank right now that I am planning on using for the nursery, but is that not big enough for them? Also, is it possible to raise them without any filtration in the nursery tank, if I change the water often? And how long before it is safe for them to be put into the big tank with the adults? Is there anything else I need to know about it, also, before they come? I have done research on it, but all of the information I am getting is not related to Dwarf Seahorses specifically, and I am not sure if there are differences in needs between seahorse species.

I can't comment on the rest of it, but 1 gallon is just fine for a Dwarf Seahorse nursery. Maybe even a little too big, considering that some people use 1 gallon fish drums as nurseries for large seahorses as well.

Just leave them in the dwarf tank as they'll eat the same brine that the adults eat. There is no need to separate them normally, unless you have something that can damage the smaller fry but not the adults.

if you do decide to put them in that 1 gallon you should do very small water changes as sea horses dont like change in the water chemistry.

With my reidi fry, I've always done 100% water changes every 48 hours.
