I really like the dwarf sea horses and was thinking of putting a pair in a tank that is 12"H 12"W and 6"L. the tank will be located in my sump/fuge and will have some plastic plants and sand in it. some LR rubble will also be stacked in it.

Dwarf seahorses cannot live inline with your reef because even minor things from your reef like hydroids can kill them. They'll need a seperate system that it is possible to panacur if necessary to kill hydroids. Panacur leaches out of rock and kills many snails, inverts, and corals for many years after the treatment, so it is not okay to use with a reef system or typical display.
